T Red Seal as always
F Remington Special field Shotgun - Try to find one of those.
A: 46. Ran out and now I'm slumming with Rare Bread.
T: Marlboro light
F: 9mm vs .40S&W. I love, love my Steyr M9. Zimmerman stopped a big black youth, probably high, with one shot of a Kel-Tec 9.
I'm commiting a sin tonight. I finally broke open a bottle of "bourbon" that isn't from Kentucky (Breckenridge). I'm shocked to say that it isn't horrible.
OMEGA SUPREME ALL THE WAY!
I got 459.5 times the distance of the earth to the sun for $441t:
441e12 * 6.14" = 2.707e15"
2.707e15" / 12in/ft / 5280 ft/mi = 42.7e9 mi (or 42 billion miles)
42.7e9 mi / 93e6 mi (93 million miles to the sun) = 459.5 times the distance to the sun
Outlaw X: Preach brother. Nothing better than a dog and a covey quail.

Eric Is right I was off by two decimal Places and measured my dollar an inch shorter. though I got 6" instead of 6.14 the second time. I messed up, not Eric. Good catch Eric.
Which makes your point more than I did.
On Yankees.

Nothing wrong with math if it can be applied. I'm just missing Eric's point.
Maybe listening to the show will explain it...
listen. you'll see.
Nate, is there a call in number for the show?
yeah follow the link and the call in number should be listed there when we're broadcasting. I'll start posting it on the ATF post before the show though if it will help.
Sounds good
BTW, was that the Gloria Cubana I sent you? Those things are the freaking bomb. They'll get you drunk on nicotine. The flavor is incredible.
Vidad as a musician/songwriter this is my hero. Wish I could still play as well when I was 30 years.

Maybe you could find some of his stuff for one of the intros to ATF
Skynyrd picked it up and played it with 3 fricking guitars. There are so many JJ Cale songs that were re-done, from Waylon Jennings (Clyde), Lynyrd Skynyrd (many) to Eric Clapton. (Cocaine)
JJ Cale was the most prolific song writer since Hank SR. Good whiskey and JJ Cale nothing better in this fucked up world.
Yeah he had a hard life and many people don't understand that man.
Vidad, here is the Shynyrd take.

@Outlaw
I never heard Cale before. Amazing. The guitar is restrained and rich... love it. Thanks.
Incidentally, I loathe Skynyrd. That was a rather sloppy and dirty cover... didn't have the depth of the original.
This is my favorite band:

Seems like that is a lot peoples favorite band looking at the views.. But as for me my roots are in the Mississippi Delta Blues. Here is a whole album from JJ Cale.

Vidad, one other thing. If you listen to that whole album you will find out that those people didn't write that song JJ Cale did. I watched a documentary on him. Sad but brilliant.
You loathe skynard... plant pretty flowers... you have a glock... and use a mac.
Did you and your wife meet at starbucks? I mean not the same starbucks...
I like most skynard, but can't stand listening to anyone else play their tunes, including me and whatever band that Shanghai'd me at the time. Most of those studio cuts were one time musical magic IMAO, never done justice by anyone since, barely done justice by skynard themselves live.
Whenever someone has Sweet Home, F'Bird, Simple Man, or Tues' Gone on a set list I want down more whiskey and dream of a gig in some east side blues dive playing something I have a better feel for....
Dang, we need a midweek ATF. There's still three more days til Friday. BTW, the last two shows have easily been the best two
Back in the days Nate, I was introduced to a guitar player and an excellent singer. He was good And brought him in on two practices. I had a drummer 18 years old at the time that could not only sing but play the drums at the same time. Never seen nothing like it before. People think drummers are a dime a dozen, they are not they are very hard to find. Guitar players are much easier but he could sing.
We had him down for the first practice in our little shack and he was impressive so now we had three guitars. Then on the second practice he made fun of my drummer I was about 30 and out weighed him by twenty pounds. I told him we can bring this to a physical conclusion right now or I never want to see you again. He didn't want none of that. Musicians are weird people their brain is wired differently, there was no way I was going to lose a drummer that could sing while drumming. Once Red saw that he was a very loyal band member. And he made a lot of money for the time.
@Nate
Heh. Naw... we met thanks to homeschooling. We only went to Starbucks later on to look at catalogs.
I think my problem with Skynyrd is that, beyond being plebian, they strike me as a Boomer band. Typical yelling about their prowess while saying "don't pin me down! I'm a free bird, man!"
I have a visceral dislike of that mentality. And Watergate DOES bother me.
FULL DISCLOSURE: I also don't like Neil Young.
FULL DISCLOSURE: I also don't like Neil Young.
Neither do I, he's a douche, but his music is awesome.
After you slammed Skynyrd, you're pretty much dead to me, even though I'm still impressed that you ate StinkbugZ.
BTW, Outlaw you're bang on on JJ Cale, even though 20 years ago I though he was the dude from Velvet Underground.
@SDH
"After you slammed Skynyrd, you're pretty much dead to me"
That's okay. I'm not that hardcore about it. If they didn't suck, I'd totally like them.
Funny, Nate I wrote this song over five years ago with almost the same chorus. Pretty close to what I did, so My bro sent it to me, "Bullets First.

I don't piss on people for their musical preferences. I didn't like "Wandering Star", but I like Vidad. Peoples taste in music has a lot to do with culture.
In the late 80's high school kids were handing me cassette tapes of Rap music saying just listen to it. I finally rejected all cassette tapes of OPM (other peoples music).
People don't understand that Musicians and band leaders like and play what they like, and never got a cassette tape of anything I wanted to play. We made money because we were true to ourselves, and played what we wanted. The damn wives of my musicians were bad enough without strangers.
If Vidad Don't like Skynyrd it is no skin off anyone's back, I learned a long time ago to just to let people like what they want, it is their ears, not mine.
The only thing that pisses me off is to have someone pull up at a red light while I am listening to some Cale or something and the Bass is so loud I screws it up. That is almost a shooting offense.
@Outlaw, I was just having some fun with Vidad, and I'm totally stealing his if that didn't suck it would be awesome reply.
@Vivdad, I'm a couple of weeks behind on the ATF shows, so I don't know if you discussed it, but how did the bugs taste?
@SDH
Why don't you call in on Nates Show tonight, I am otherwise Busy, but I always catch the replay.
I'd love to call in, but I get up around 5:00am, so I'm usually in bed by then.
