Tonight might just be the FFF show.

Tonight I'm going to attempt to drink Pabst Blue Ribbon without displaying any hipster irony.

A: Some pils from some shitty microbrewery. But about to switch to Russell's 12.
T: Hemingway Short Story. Say there's anything better. Go ahead.
F: xd40, fresh from a good session at the range.

Viidad, you could do far worse than the ribbon. I say, put a little irony in there, just to spite them hipsters. Southern folk aren't supposed to understand that real smarty-smart artsy stuff like irony.

I'm listening here and my wife is watching David the Good do his Michael Moore impersonation on TV.

Chedds, we needed your taste chemistry expertise in the show. I nominate you to be guest next week and talk about taste chemistry in whiskey and vodka and when are you going to report on your accessory?

awj308, I actually got the last parts this Friday. I have an old dude machinist that i want to put the parts on my Dpms 308 ar-10 type rifle. i was going to try and do it myself at a local "building club" where you can rent time on metal working machines, but the owner freaked out when he realized it was for a firearm. The Feds are cracking down on machine shops that let people do ar-15 lower fabrications. My modification is for the upper, but he was sufficiently freaked to say "no" regardless of the law. I am asking the Almighty for favor with the old dude machinist.

Just FYI, the ATF even considers engraving on a finished firearm or receiver as "manufacturing", thus requiring an FFL for the site where the work is performed.

However, that does not apply to barrels, muzzle brakes, stocks, etc, unless they happen to be attached to the receiver/firearm at the time.

BS, I know, but it's the ATF...
