My God, My God
Why have you forsaken me?
This phrase is a matter of theological debate. Its a matter that causes many to wonder if even Jesus Himself didn't lose faith in His darkest of hours. He didn't. We know He didn't... because we know these words are not just a lament... they are a Lament.
Psalm 22
My God My God
Why have you forsaken me
Why are you so far away from saving me
so far from my cries of anguish
Read it. Go and read Psalm 22.
Jesus most likely sang those words. It was a song of lament. It was His psalm written hundreds of years before He was born to save us.

Nate, that is an excellent perspective on Jesus. It never occurred to me that he might have been singing.
There are passages that talk about how we should be praising God when our worst trials are happening. So Jesus singing would totally make sense.
Very good post. Thank you and may all the bloggerblasters and their families have a good and glorious Easter. He has risen!
Nate, I assume you heard about Outlaw X
