Nate, I have a question for you as our expert on all things Southron. I have noticed stories for awhile now that look like the school system in a number of areas in the South is being targeted specifically by liberals. What is up with that?

Even Rush noticed the trend earlier this week on his show. The worst one to me was that teacher in WVA iirc, who mandated their 9th grade class to write the first stage statement of muslim conversion and then read it aloud.

If I heard Rush correctly, he said that some of this stuff has been at the direction of Obama's dept of education. WTH is going on? It can't be just all the liberal pockets, there has to be something more to this.

Right now its limited to individual SJW administrators and teachers. There definitely is some trickle down from the DOE... but its not really a conspiracy so much as it is a bunch of psychos with common goals.

It would be easier to stop if it was conspiracy.

As it is we're forced to root them out one at a time.

Anyway its hard to get to riled up about this. We gave up on the schools a long long time ago.

Scale of 1-10

Coolness: 8
Practicality: 4
Reusability: 1

Like so many attempts to combine two different functions into one unit, this one performs both but neither of them as well as individual units do separately. Like cornering in motorcycle mode -- you just can't lean it over as far as a normal bike, or you'll scrape the shit out of the float body, possibly cracking or breaking it. And in PWC mode, it just doesn't have the same maneuverability and hardiness of a dedicated craft.

It's the kind of thing that will be used for a while as a novelty, only to be put away in favor of the real motorcycles and the real PWCs.

Definitely cool, though. Now if they can only make a tractor-plane.

I don't think lean angle is the problem. If you look its decent ground clearance and its rounded. I bet it goes over further than you think it does.

No if there is an issue... its horespower to weight. 780 pound machine... 55 horse power.

Its as bad as a harley.

But it is definitely ridable.

And the compromise would be worth it to me to be able to ride to the boat ramp.

Uh huh. Check out the video @2:18 mark; the bottom is almost touching the ground, and the bike isn't even at 45° yet.

"And the compromise would be worth it to me to be able to ride to the boat ramp."

If you're going out on a trip by yourself, no problem. But if you've got the family along, you're going to need another vehicle anyway. Advantage lost.

And you still don't have the performance of a regular PWC, which is largely the point of one in the first place. Otherwise, it's just an undersized boat.

Meh. I give her a 4, would not bang...er...buy.

Thank you for your response Nate. While I agree that most intelligent people have given up on the schools, I am not sure that we should totally ignore them.

I would love to see the concept of tenure gotten rid of. Do that, and I believe that would remove a huge roadblock to parents finally getting to work, cleaning out the rot of their schools. The teachers sure aren't going to do it themselves.

No disrespect intended to any teachers who read/comment here. But the profession is stinking with rot, and the still decent teachers seem to not be able to do a thing about it.

95% of motorcycle riders never hit the 45 mark.

And its obviously for 1 or two. Why would you take a jetski for a family outing?

That's what boats are for.

And are you in the 5% or the 95%?

"Why would you take a jetski for a family outing?"

I don't usually take just one (picture is an example, not actually mine...though the Waverunner is close).

"That's what boats are for."

That too. But mostly with a PWC you just want to play in the waves. Boats can't do that. Neither can the Biski.

The point is the Biski has limited applications for a subset of people. You want it, go for it. But I wouldn't plan to take it on the Tail of the Dragon or whip the kids around on a tube or get some air, 'cuz it won't do any of those well.

You get a Harley or something?
