Donald Trump: Lightworker

I find I'm having this discussion, this weird little debate, more and more, with colleagues, with readers, with liberals and moderates and miserable, deeply depressed Republicans and spiritually amped persons of all shapes and stripes and I'm having it in particular with those who seem confused, angry, unsure, thoroughly nonplussed, as they all ask me the same thing: What the hell's the big deal about Trump?

I, of course, have an answer. Sort of.

Warning: If you are a rigid pragmatist/literalist, itchingly evangelical, a scowler, a doubter, a burned-out former '60s radical with no hope left, or are otherwise unable or unwilling to parse alternative New Age speak, click away right now, because you ain't gonna like this one little bit.

Ready? It goes likes this:

Donald Trump isn't really one of us. Not in the normal way, anyway.

This is what I find myself offering up more and more in response to the whiners and the frowners and to those with broken or sadly dysfunctional karmic antennae - or no antennae at all - to all those who just don't understand and maybe even actively recoil against all this chatter about Trump's aura and feel and MLK/JFK-like vibe.

To them I say, all right, you want to know what it is? The appeal, the pull, the ethereal and magical thing that seems to enthrall millions of people from all over the world, that keeps opening up and firing into new channels of the culture normally completely unaffected by politics?

No, it's not merely his youthful vigor, or handsomeness, or even inspiring rhetoric. It is not fresh ideas or cool charisma or the fact that an outsider president will be historic and revolutionary in about a thousand different ways. It is something more. Even Bill Clinton, with all his effortless, winking charm, didn't have what Trump has, which is a sort of powerful luminosity, a unique high-vibration integrity.

Dismiss it all you like, but I've heard from far too many enormously smart, wise, spiritually attuned people who've been intuitively blown away by Trump's presence - not speeches, not policies, but sheer presence - to say it's just a clever marketing ploy, a slick gambit carefully orchestrated by hotshot campaign organizers who, once Trump gets into office, will suddenly turn from perky optimists to vile soul-sucking lobbyist whores, with Trump as their suddenly evil, cackling overlord.

Here's where it gets gooey. Many spiritually advanced people I know (not coweringly religious, mind you, but deeply spiritual) identify Trump as a Lightworker, that rare kind of attuned being who has the ability to lead us not merely to new foreign policies or health care plans or whatnot, but who can actually help usher in a new way of being on the planet, of relating and connecting and engaging with this bizarre earthly experiment. These kinds of people actually help us evolve. They are philosophers and peacemakers of a very high order, and they speak not just to reason or emotion, but to the soul.

The unusual thing is, true Lightworkers almost never appear on such a brutal, spiritually demeaning stage as national politics. This is why Trump is so rare. And this why he is so often compared to Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr., to those leaders in our culture whose stirring vibrations still resonate throughout our short history.

Are you rolling your eyes and scoffing? Fine by me. But you gotta wonder, why has, say, the JFK legacy lasted so long, is so vital to our national identity? Yes, the assassination canonized his legend. The Kennedy family is our version of royalty. But there's something more. Those attuned to energies beyond the literal meanings of things, these people say JFK wasn't assassinated for any typical reason you can name. It's because he was just this kind of high-vibration being, a peacemaker, at odds with the war machine, the CIA, the dark side. And it killed him.

Now, Trump. The next step. Another try. And perhaps, as Obama laid waste to the land and embarrassed the country and pummeled our national spirit into disenchanted pulp and yet ironically, in so doing has helped set the stage for an even larger and more fascinating evolutionary burp, we are finally truly ready for another Lightworker to step up.

Let me be completely clear: I'm not arguing some sort of utopian revolution, a big global group hug with Trump as some sort of happy hippie camp counselor. I'm not saying the man's going to swoop in like a superhero messiah and stop all wars and make the flowers grow and birds sing and solve world hunger and bring puppies to schoolchildren.

Please. I'm also certainly not saying he's perfect, that his presidency will be free of compromise, or slimy insiders, or great heaps of politics-as-usual. While Trump's certainly an entire universe away from Obama in terms of quality, integrity, intelligence and overall inspirational energy, well, so is your dog. Hell, it isn't hard to stand far above and beyond the worst president in American history.

But there simply is no denying that extra kick.

As one reader put it to me, in a way, it's not even about Trump, per se. There's a vast amount of positive energy swirling about that's been held back by the armies of ObamaBLM darkness, and this energy has now found a conduit, a lightning rod, is now effortlessly self-organizing around Trump's candidacy. People and emotions and ideas of high and positive vibration are automatically drawn to him. It's exactly like how Obama was a magnet for the low vibrational energies of fear and envy and oppression and aggression, but, you know, completely reversed. And different. And far, far better.

Don't buy any of it? Think that's all a bunch of tofu-sucking New Agey bulls-- and Trump is really a dangerously elitist political salesman whose inexperience will lead us further into darkness because, when you're talking national politics, nothing, really, ever changes? I understand. I get it. I often believe it myself.

Not this time.

It is hard to explain my attraction to the Trumpening. I know cognitively that it can't be real. But at the same time, with every story that emerges of a selfless, generous act or display of loyalty, I find myself drawn towards him.

I know he'll disappoint me, though. I see the CFR and Soros people swirling around him, lesser amounts of neo-connery, etc. I know in my head those people are there for a reason.

What's special about Trump is that he isn't a total liar. He might prove to be mistaken about something, but he isn't saying one thing and meaning something else. That makes him genuine. America hasn't had genuine in the oval office since Regan.

God's blessing may be on Trump. I hope it is. He is nothing intrinsically good in and of himself. Any light he brings will be a reflection of someone else. Lets hope its genuine and not a masquerade.

I agree with Res about Trump. Sure he is human, and the leadership of Congress announced about a month ago that they found their spines and intend to use them next year. So Trump is going to have to be a real tough MF'er when it comes to dealing with congress.

I think that people are so shocked about his honesty, that they weren't sure what to think in the beginning either. Trump is, bottom line, (IMO) a very happy warrior who loves his country. I do not believe we would have him running this year if we didn't have Obama and his destruction to clean up. So maybe there is some truth to God's hand being at play here.

Looking at his family, all I could think was what a pleasure that Classytown was going to take back our WH and we could be proud of that office holder again at least for awhile.

Melania brings back the glamour and elegance of Jackie Kennedy. Along with Melania we will have the added pleasure of Ivanka and the wives of the two sons. To claim that Mooch was the heir to that mantle of Jackie was beyond ludicrous.

I saw Trump in Hagerstown. People have no idea. The man has an energy, the crowd has an energy, I know in my head that it's all just politics and psychology, but whatever it is is real. The man can work a crowd. I know he's a wrecking ball to the establishment, and that's why I'm voting for TRUMP. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN

Nate,

IMO the USA is living in a bubble of unreality. We have more economic and ethnic fault lines in this nation than the Soviet Union did in the early 1980's. Most Americans don't even get that.

Trump may delay the breakup of the USA. However, if we are to remain a nation for the next 100 or 200 years, we will need to reverse the white demographic decline, deport most of the Hispanics and other brown skinned invaders, and turn the time clock on white and black America back to 1950. I dont see that happening under Trump or any other president.

Nate,

I dont know if you are having fun with us, given your above post, or if this is a side of you i have never seen or heard. If it were the ATF show I mmght detect a subtle change in Six's voice like he is biting his lip to keep from bursting out laughing...since that is not the case, i will have to wait and see how this all works out.

It's hard to argue against what your saying Nate as I agree with you.

From the world of men and trying to grok the bigger picture of the situation ... anyone who's ultimate interest is for America, it's people, our constitution and the republic that it founded ... the "contest" is heavily rigged against any and all by the leftist/liberal/marxists.

The media, education/academia, unions, self-serving bureaucrats and "civil servants", despotic control of information and misinformation, lying, thievery, illegals with their disease, lawlessness and the orchestrated pillory of social benefits intended and paid for by generations of U.S. Citizens. Add in the UN/Globalists with their enabling of terrorists of all strips for their murder, mayhem ... and votes.

Perversion of everything ... language, law, education, logic, science, history, medicine, men/women/children, fathers and mothers, healthy, normal, right and wrong ...

The list of obstacles and challenges seems overwhelming and impossible for one or many to overcome.

Then the perversion of the vote ... voter fraud and the "counting" of the votes outside of the United States for the "General" election.

In consideration of all of this and more it has become easy for me to speculate that only by "playing as one of them"/"working the crowd" can the mal-educated and perverse be overcome by mortal men in the situation before us.

From a spiritual context I can see where the admonishment of Jesus to the Apostles that “Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves." applies to all of us as Believers since that time to this day.

It is not "evil" to choose between two "evils" nor is it often a choice between "evils". Being "wise as serpents" means being shrewd, wise to the ways of the world and making a choice that doesn't lend itself to willingly permitting harm, death and destruction of you, yours and others.

The Apostles could easily be accused today of not having enough Faith, not being filled or walking in The Spirit because they were concerned and got tired of being beaten by a town or village that "wouldn't receive" them. Instead they sent others ahead to discern if they would be received. If not Jesus told them to shake the dust off of the shoes/sandals from such places. It would seem they were exercising being "wise as serpents". In short, you have a brain ... use it.

So our choices are few and I hope and pray that Mr. Trump is likewise exercising being "wise as a serpent" to garner enough votes to pull our nation "from the brink of destruction". I have no doubt whatsoever that he is wise to the ways of the world and is handily adept to "street fighting" ... up to and including not "fighting fair". (the horror! /sarc)

There's more I can share of my thoughts along this line but for now I watch and pray.

In the meantime I ponder my own thoughts and those like Nate's and I am happy for it.

If the Lord is to tarry then, in the least, I don't want to be guilty of making choices to end up spiting myself and everyone else ... we need to use our brain while being wise as a serpent and gentle as a dove.

Note: I'm am sorely tempted to think that the "gentle as doves" part applied only to the Apostles. ;-O

I am a highly spiritual person and I totally disagree with your assessment of Donald Trump. That "kick" you feel, that high-vibrational charisma is nothing more than a sociopath love-baiting.

And before anyone wants to attack me for my opinion, let me say this. I lived half my life with a sociopath and Donald Trump is the poster child of sociopaths if there ever was one.

The sociopath's sole point in life is to control, manipulate, and destroy all those who stand in his/her way of what he/she wants. He has already shown this over and over again.

I feel for all the people who fell for his special "shine". Once that veneer wears off there will be more sorrow and fear than ever before.

The 'Empaths' of this world will be the ones to suffer the most. We will be the ones that will have to heal the world in the aftermath.

You don't have to agree, but mark my words, in less than four years you will remember what I've said here today and you will be very upset with yourself for falling for this glitzy, shiny sociopath.
