ATF:

Vacation.

No show.

The holiday celebrations were particularly exhausting this year... so we've decided to spend a week at the beach.  So while there will be no ATF show tonight... fear not.   Look forward to an extremely ramped up number of posts related to booze and smokes and such over the next several days starting saturday night or sunday.

On a related note:

A: Bookers.  Because Bookers.

T: Arturo.  Because Arturo.

F: german .25 caliber pistol.  Made in Auschwitz.

Beach, huh?

I just finished hooking up the plow to my old Ford pickup because if we get what is forecast, my plow on my little tractor won't cut it. This snow is coming on top of the 8" we already got.

AND no ATF show to boot.

Dammit.

A: Makers Regular
T: Alec Bradley Tempus (Habano wrapper?)
F: Mac 90, almost new.

My frankenbuild AR, RGuns 16" mid length port upper 1:8 twist, NIB bcg, ATI Poly lower with PSA kit, replace trigger with QMS single stage, MOE furniture, Burris TAC30 scope, this thing shoots military 62gr 5.56 like a lazer beam.

Oh, an only about $700 total with all shipping fees etc.. into it. I'll keep it thank you.

A: Dundee Brewing Original Honey Brown Lager and The Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14yo Scotch
T: Granddaddy Purple. Just kidding, Rocky Patel Vintage 2003.
F: Yes

The New Year has brought interesting (high) times to the Rockies. I personally won't be partaking of the ganja, but I might try some Recreational Smoke next time I'm in Boulder.

Happy Friday Ya'll.

Have fun on vacation. You can't tease us with an ATF like that. You've got to give us pics of that 25 and a run down on the history.

A: Jim Beam Black Label
T: El Torano
F: Tile nippers. I'm doing a big mosaic entryway right now. Nip nip.

Susan said...

Vidad, you will have to post a photo when you get finished. Entryway mosaic floors are just awesome.

Vidad said...

@Susan

I can do that. Dunno if my fiddly tumbled glass and tile craftwork fits the ATF ethos, but hey... I'm so manly I don't care.

Susan said...

Vidad, working on the homestead is always going to be worthy IMO.

Did you ever see the photo of a room that a young couple laid in their residence? It was all done in pennies and it took them approx. 2 years to do. It sounds goofy, but the final floor turned out spectacular. Who knew that copper could have so many variants in color?

So Nate, we are all curious how far south this arctic chill has really gone. Reports are now saying Alabama and Georgia.

Did you guys have to go to the Florida Keys to find your beach weather?

All you fellows in the middle of this, stay warm and safe. May your power never go off.

Northwest Ohio is firmly in the middle of the Snowmaggedon of 2014.

Freakin' -9F w/30-40mph wind, tons of snow and drifts.

And I need to go plow, but my motivation level to go back outside is about as low as the temperature...

I feel for ya toothy.

We hit -35 yesterday. I had to work outside in it. Today the cold snap has broke and we are about +19. I think you folks back east are supposed to get a break in a day or two.

Ouch! Hope you get hazard pay for that...

What work were you doing, if you don't mind my asking? And if you do mind, that's quite alright.

A: Knob Creek

T: My Uzi Weighs a Ton (Baitfish edition)

F: Glock 19 (don't care if it gets snow, ice, condensation on it, it's just a glock, after all...)

I don't mind. I've got a job out at the airport and I had to move some cars around. I didn't have to stay out in the wind for more than 10 min at a time but that was enough. It took a couple of hours after I got back inside to feel warm again. My feet were freezing.

Susan said...

Res, I would have thought that job was a prime candidate to wear battery operated socks on. Frostbite on feet is no laughing matter according to my RN daughter.

Outlaw-X, are you keepin' warm?

@Susan

I'd like to do an entire floor with Peace dollars. That would be awesome.

I read Elvis had 37 guns, not the 57 I had assumed. Having "more guns than Elvis" seems to be do-able, although one of his guns was a sub machine gun. I am guessing it was a Thompson sub machine gun.

Then again, Nate could have more guns than Elvis in a single caliber.

Patrick Kelly, i would not call your rifle a Frankenbuild, rather, a hybrid. Hybrids are known for their vigor.

Nate,

Next time you go on vacation, could you turn the show over to Six and Outlaw-x?

Vidad said...

Heh heh.

I think that is one of the few things Nate fears.

Are we on, Six?
