Hey y'all we are loading up for a road trip. I will stand by my commitment though. I will be blogging today... just probably not till after we get back.
In the mean time...
Taurus Poly Protector Wheel guns. Heresy? or Awesome?
Doesn't really look right to me. On performance, guess I should fire one before making judgement, but I would think that the weight loss would make getting back on target a bit slower. I will stick with my PT1911.
I'm inclined to agree with Giraffe. Pretty guns are nice and all, but I'm more interested in how they work. I'd love to fire one and see if I like it or not. If it came with a 3 inch barrel I'd be a lot more interested.
Got the .357 poly for my parents for christmas. I was extremely impressed with the fit and finish of the thing... and the trigger pull was heavy.. but smooth.
I was impressed. And I find those ribbed grips Taurus uses simply take the bite out of any and all recoil.

I don't believe in heresy when in comes to guns. It works, or it doesn't.
Pretty is a bonus, and a rather small one, not a necessity.
