New Ride!!!

Finally broke down a got a decent vehicle to haul the kids in.  The Escalade just wasn't cutting it anymore.  To many kids... to big a pain to get in and out of.  The power sliding doors are what sold me on it in the end.  its the Touring Elite.. 3.5 litre V6... 250hp...  obviously optioned out.  More pics later.

***UPDATE***

It is amusing to no end that people somehow still manage to fall for April Fools jokes.  One would think that the popularity of smart phones with calendar functionality would reduce the effectiveness of these things.

And I guess you also got the little hitch on the back so you can tow your new Harley around too.

Nate, been reading you on and off for a number of years. I just never pictured you in the wet dream of... soccer moms...

You had me. I'm such a sucker. Best one since Bane died. The first time.

Smart move. In the church I attend, last year a couple had twin girls which upped their number of kids to 4 girls so they went with one of these also. They love theirs. The power sliding doors are awesome when you are loading up kids and other related stuff.

Billiam, these are nothing like the gas hog vans of yesteryear. You get fuel economy and functionality all in one vehicle. Plus it looks good.

This is the vehicle for the smart soccer dad.

It's amazing how many people still fall for April fools jokes. This one hurts a little though because wifey and I own an Odyssey.

Of course, I also drive a Land Cruiser, so eff you.

Ha ha ha.(smile) With all the kids you have now though it is a great vehicle for large families and fuel efficient.

On a related note, why no pics of the new additions? Are you still in denial that there is now more than one female in the house of Nate?

Ah. The new Honda Robospanker model. Nice.

Wait... you totally need to put a soccer-ball license plate on the front. And a bike rack on the back. Plus fuzzy pink dice inside. And maybe a "Call Nate for the very best from Pampered Chef!" sticker on the back.

I completely forgot it is April 1st. Sue, I know, as my cousin has one as well. I just can't see Nate in one. It'd be like if he said he was getting a trike, or a Can Am. It just doesn't say "Nate".

Just the fact that there are rivets in it, I knew this was BS ;P

I didn't see this until today. I think that I would have had a hard time believing that a male would get excited about a luxury van. I recently purchased a Honda CRV to replace my mini-van(aka the deer slayer). I love it! On the other hand, my husband...well...let's just say he's happy that I love it.
